Gladden Unlimited Water Plans: FAQs
The FIRST question everybody asks: "Is the water as good as bottled water?" - Answer: YES - Gladden unlimited water systems produce water near identical in taste to Gladden bottled water and near identical in taste to most bottled water brands found in stores. If during the first 30 days you are not completely satisfied with Gladden unlimited purified water we will switch you out to Gladden bottled water, no questions asked*.
What is the difference between "filtered" and "purified" water
Gladden filtered water is water that passes through sediment and granular activated carbon.
Granular activated carbon (GAC) Definition: A filter with granular activated carbon (GAC) is a proven option to remove certain chemicals, particularly organic chemicals, from water. GAC filters also can be used to remove chemicals that give objectionable odors or tastes to water such as hydrogen sulfide (rotten eggs odor) or chlorine. (Minnesota Department of Heath)
Gladden Purified systems add reverse osmosis and post carbon filtration to achieve water that is near identical to the bottled water you buy in a store
How Is The Water Purified:
Gladden uses reverse osmosis to produce near identical store bought bottled water quality. In fact most store bought water is made via reverse osmosis.
What Is Reverse Osmosis:
Reverse Osmosis Definition:(Chemical Engineering) a technique for purifying water, in which pressure is applied to force liquid through a semipermeable membrane in the opposite direction to that in normal osmosis (Collins English Dictionary – Complete and Unabridged © HarperCollins Publishers 1991, 1994, 1998, 2000, 2003)
Reverse Osmosis Definition: A method of producing pure water by forcing saline or impure water through a semipermeable membrane across which salts or impurities cannot pass. Reverse osmosis is used for water filtration, for desalinization of seawater, and in kidney dialysis machines. (The American Heritage® Science Dictionary Copyright © 2005 by Houghton Mifflin Company. A Gladden reverse osmosis system consists of many parts and filters - each part and filter has a different purpose in the water purification process. When Gladden installs a system we do not install a "one size fits all" system. Careful considerations need to be made for incoming water pressure, Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) in water, PH, and if the water is currently being disinfected. Careful consideration is needed to determine how much water needs to be produced hourly, daily and monthly.
Each Gladden system is sized and modified to meet location specific needs. The end result is to insure customers receive "bottled water quality" water. Other items to consider are the use of mineralizers. If mineral added water is something you want ask for the "mineralizer", it will add minerals back into the finished product.
How Often Does Gladden Service Reverse Osmosis Systems:
Gladden will service the system as often as necessary to maintain production of great quality water. At a minimum we service systems every six months. With Gladden Unlimited plans there are no charges for service calls or filters. Most other companies only service systems once a year, we feel that is just too long to insure quality purified water.
My Water Smells REALLY BAD - Can You Really Purify That:
Absolutely - YES - with reverse osmosis we are extracting the purified water and we get rid of nearly everything else.
Thousands of people could not believe that we could transform their water into the best water they ever tasted. Its true we do it every day providing more and more people with awesome unlimited purified water.
What About Reverse Osmosis Systems I See In Stores:
Watch what you buy. There are many cheap systems out there - most are "one size fits all", have cheap parts, and do not take into consideration the specific water treatment needs at a location. We install our systems in many places where people tried to cut costs and install a store bought system. The result often leads to water leaking and/or damage, bad water, filters that never get maintained, etc.
Gladden systems are built by Gladden, using the best parts and filters. Extreme care is used to insure no leaks and perfect water is produced. A Gladden system with a hot/cold cooler is usually less expensive than a store bought reverse osmosis system and you have peace of mind knowing the water experts are maintaining your system.
So Whats The Catch - Unlimited Water - No Charge For Filters - What Am I Missing:
Unlimited water means exactly what it says. There is no limit on how much water you can use each month. Use purified water for cooking, drinking, take to parties, fill up coolers, etc.
Gladden believes in fair pricing and we will not "price gouge" our customers like some companies will. It drives us nuts seeing people pay thousands of dollars because of a sales pitch when we can achieve the same results for a fraction of the cost. Gladden has thousands of people drinking unlimited purified water. Many are just like you, they thought it would be impossible to purify their water, they just couldn't believe it. Let us surprise and amaze you. Get a Gladden system and your water will be the best you have ever tasted.
